13. Synching Power (Queen-Live In Dublin: 8/28/1984) Video

Ladies and Gentlemen, I apologize for the delay: I was just working on cleaning up this bootleg for you wonderful youtubers! On the original bootleg, the gig was over one semitone too fast, and had plenty of tape hiss. I spent the last few days cleaning up the concert (fixing the key, EQing it, etc), so the quality is quite a bit better (though still not excellent by ANY means)! Now, onto the gig--unlike much of the 1984 leg of The Works Tour, this gig finds Freddie in great shape vocally, and has the confidence to go for some decently high notes throughout the whole show! His rendition of the "Seven Seas Of Rhye" is the best one he's done in the 80s (and challenges some of his 70s versions)! The band sounds great and Freddie makes it clear that he's happy to be touring again!

Note: Freddie goofs up the lyrics in "Tie Your Mother Down," but recovers well!

Note 2: Freddie introduces "Another One Bites The Dust" as, "Another One Bites The Bum!"
